SKIN SCIENCE Aesthetics Clinic was established by Alex Sterley-Scheepers in 2016. Alex graduated Cum Laude and top of her class from the prestigious Isa Carstens Academy in Stellenbosch at the end of 2013. Thereafter she spent 2014 working at a well-known Medical Aesthetics Company in Johannesburg and Pretoria, where she gained invaluable experience in her field of interest, which has always been Aesthetics. 2015 saw Alex return to full time studies at the Central University of Technology where she obtained her honours Degree (Cum Laude) in Somatology.
With her absolute love and passion for the industry Alex returned to her Free State hometown where she opened SKIN SCIENCE in 2016. For four years SKIN SCIENCE went from strength to strength and serviced well over 2000 clients in the area. SKIN SCIENCE expanded its services to include two medical Doctors (Botox, fillers & medical slimming), two full time Therapists and Permanent Make Up Artists. During 2020 Alex got married and moved to Johannesburg to be with her husband. SKIN SCIENCE has since then relocated to the heart of the beautiful, award-winning Featherbrooke Estate.
In 2020 / 2021 Alex furthered her studies and has now added Image Consulting to Skin Science’s services. Alex saw a gap within the Skin Care industry and was interested in how she could bring about another dimension to what she already does. This led her to Image and Style Consultancy. She is passionate about working with people, creating confidence from the inside out and inspiring and assisting people to be the best versions of themselves.
